Things Are Never So Bad That They Can't Get Worse
This is one of my mottos: Things are never so bad that they can't get worse. If you live by those words, then you will never be surprised by misfortune. If times are tough, don't worry. Things could get much worse. At least things are only pretty bad. They could be much worse.
Is democracy on the line? Will we lose our freedoms? Maybe. I don't know. But I do know that my water heater is ok. My house has hot water and no carpet puddles.
Until today.
Things got worse.
It's always something, isn't it?
